Parents of children turning 4 (born in 2008) during 2012--including children with preschool Individualized Education Programs (IEP)s--are eligible to register their child for NYC Pre-Kindergarten programs starting Monday March 5.
Parents can apply to programs operated directly by the NYC Department of Education as well as programs contracted with the NYC DOE that are operated by community-based organizations, such as Head Start, and also childcare agencies.
Informational/Orientation meetings will be held starting the week of March 12.
