This May...

With RCSN's help, Valerie and Jennifer -- 22-year-old twin sisters who both have autism and intellectual disabilities -- will "aging out" of day and residential placements far from home and rejoin their Bronx neighborhood, supported by local programs where they can continue to thrive.

This June...

MiguelWith RCSN's help, six-year-old Miguel -- who has complex medical needs and does not speak -- will graduate from first grade at his new school. Miguel was getting too heavy for his mother to carry but now has a new wheelchair as he finishes the school year. His parents have respite care at home and are taking advantage of needed counseling services.

Allegra
With RCSN's help, Allegra -- who is 8 and has developmental and emotional disabilities -- will be a camper at an inclusion sleepaway camp with a special therapeutic program. With assistance from a Brooklyn financial aid program, Allegra will be able to have a rewarding summer experience at a critical period in her social, physical, and emotional development.
