Many thanks to Councilmember Robert Jackson and Community Education Council 6 for partnering with us to offer our "Navigating Special Education Reform" workshop to a packed house of 69 parents and professionals on June 8!
RCSN has a unique perspective of the changes caused by Reform, since our work with parents allows us to see the actual impact that changes to policy are already having on families of children with special needs.
We will be monitoring changes as we see them and updating our workshops accordingly. Our goal is always the same--to inform parents, encourage parent participation, and help parents advocate for their children.
