Round 2 of pre-kindergarten admissions begins this Monday, July 19.
For parents of children with and without special needs who are turning four before December 31, 2010, it is not too late to apply for a NYC Universal Pre-Kindergarten seat.
The pre-k admissions process reopens on Monday July 19th. Please follow the links below for additional information.
- July 19: Directories and applications available online and at Borough Enrollment Offices
- July 30: Application submission deadline
- Late August: Offer letters sent to families
Eligibility for Pre-Kindergarten Programs for the 2010-11 School Year
Children born between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2006, who will turn four years old between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010, and who reside in New York City are eligible to participate in pre-k programs that are offered by the New York City Department of Education.
